Our client is a global PE backed business who seek to hire a Finance Manager to take ownership of a region of 4 entities. The role will suit an ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified Finance Manager who is looking for a broad well-rounded role working in a fast-paced changing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for providing an effective Management Accounting service to the business, maintaining the General Ledger for allocated companies, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the company's financial records, providing timely information to the business.
  • Working with other members of the team to manage the cash requirements for the companies, delivering rolling 13-week forecasts to senior management and PE Investors on a weekly basis.
  • Ensuring all filing and reporting requirements are complied with.
  • Own the month-end process for the allocated companies, working closely with key stakeholders and senior business leaders.
  • Post necessary journals and ensure all entries are processed through the GL so that accurate Management Accounts are produced and issued in accordance with internal guidelines in appropriate formats, including analysis work as required.
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, taking remedial action to rectify any errors, ensuring that the company's assets and liabilities are accurately recorded, providing supporting explanation where appropriate.
  • Review the accounts prepared by outsourced providers and other members of the Finance team, requesting changes where appropriate.
  • Monthly reporting with clear & insightful analysis & explanations.
  • Work with business managers and directors to provide quarterly forecasts and annual budgets to the Board.
  • Ensure the completion of annual audits and timely preparation/filing of Financial Statements, maintaining an annual calendar of reporting deadlines.
  • Preparation and review of periodic tax filings, working with local advisors.
  • Cashflow management and forecasts, in conjunction with other members of the Finance team, delivering to senior management, the Board, and PE investors.
  • Co-ordination of global cash requirements to feed into the UK weekly.
