Orka Financial is partnering with a leading business based in Andover who are looking to recruit an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their clients established finance team. You’ll support the month-end close across multiple entities. This is a great opportunity for an AAT/ACCA/CIMA studier who is looking to take their next step within their finance career.
Key Duties- Support month-end close across multiple entities
- Prepare and post journals, including accruals and prepayments
- Maintain the fixed asset register and run monthly depreciation
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Deliver accurate monthly reporting within group deadlines
- Assist with VAT returns
- Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements
- Support year-end audits, liaising with external auditors
- Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function
- Proven knowledge of supporting a finance team
- Studying a professional accounting qualification AAT/ACCA/CIMA
- Intermediate EXCEL skills
Salary up to £35,000 depending upon experience (Hybrid working model)
