About the role

Orka Financial is currently partnering with a business based in Windsor that is looking to recruit an Accountant to join the team. This role reports into the Financial Controller and is responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate financial information to support the production of the management accounts & information provided to the business. You will also be responsible for the reconciliation and control of specific balance sheet accounts and supporting the production of the statutory accounts.

Duties:

  • Monthly management accounts – preparation of journals and analysis including accruals, prepayments, payroll, cash and fixed assets
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support with statutory accounts production
  • Complete cost centre reviews for the business and provide financial support to the budget holders to ensure budgets and costs are being managed effectively
  • Support the completion of analytical reviews and analysis of the P&L and balance sheet
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Provide support to the treasury team when necessary
  • Assist with the external audit process

Qualifications

The role requires a qualified Accountant with solid experience in management accounts production. You will have experience in assisting with the production of statutory accounts.

Work arrangements

Based in Windsor and operates hybrid working. The salary is up to £60,000 DOE.
