Orka Financial is currently working with a growing business, based in Reading, which is looking to hire a Management Accountant to focus on the accounting for a newly acquired company. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the month end reporting, including posting accruals and interrogating balance sheet reconciliations as well as providing key data for corporation tax reporting.
Year end is on the horizon so you will also be a key contact for the auditors. You will not be doing the technical accounting for the acquisition but working on the project to integrate the business. This role is a 6 month contract with 3 days per week in the office. Our client are based in central Reading, close to the train station and is looking for someone to start in early December.
Ideally, you will need to be ACA qualified to be considered, however, if you are ACCA or CIMA qualified and have relevant experience then we would like to hear from you as well.
