Orka Financial is currently partnering with an exciting business based in Slough who are looking for an experienced accounts assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is looking for an ASAP start and is paying between £15.00 and £20.00 per hour depending on experience, please apply online for consideration.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of daily account reconciliations for bank and cards including resolving of discrepancies
- Regular reconciliation of AP and AR ledgers, and balance sheet accounts
- Preparation of month end accounts close including processing month end journals
- Following up with customers for overdue payments
Requirements
- Communicating with vendors regarding payment queries
- Able to demonstrate prior experience of involvement in month end accounting
- Attention to detail and good time management skills
- A proactive attitude and able to look for improvements to processes.
