Our client is a growing boutique business who seek to hire a Management Accountant. The role will suit a hands-on Management Accountant who enjoys working in an SME environment with a close-knit team.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Support in the development and production of forecasts, budgets, and financial plans
- Preparing income statements, balance sheets and other financial documents
- Analytical review of the company's financial performance based on financial records
- Identifying problem areas and presenting recommendations to company management
- Preparation of year-end schedules
- Monthly / quarterly / annual sales commissions calculations
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage intercompany balances
- Have primary responsibility for all company banking
- Preparation of statistical returns
- Prepare journals to ensure costs are recognised in the correct accounting period
- Responsible for Fixed Asset register and Depreciation
- Maintaining financial controls and processes
- Evaluating and monitoring financial information systems and recommending improvements where needed
A salary of £50,000-£60,000 plus bonus and benefits.
