Oris is an independent Swiss watch company deeply rooted in Hölstein, where we’ve been making beautiful, timeless, high-functioning mechanical watches for more than 120 years. As an independent company, we value your initiatives that will contribute to the success of our boutique – from organising events and activations to expanding our B2B network in the UK and managing our local Instagram & boutique newsletter.

Your main duties:

  • Develop and implement the boutique strategy to achieve and exceed ambitious targets, leading the team on sales tactics including pushing key pieces, proactive customer outreach/follow up, and ongoing refinement of the selling ceremony.
  • Recruit, lead, coach & motivate boutique sales associates to reach sales targets and oversee best-in-class clienteling behaviour & deep brand knowledge.
  • Achieve high customer satisfaction across all interactions, ensuring that the team goes consistently above and beyond to support their needs, including during selling appointments, aftersales service, email/ticketing enquiries, and handling complaints.
  • Maintain the highest presentation standards across all areas including visual merchandising, display furniture, sales floor, staff appearance, building maintenance, and stock room organisation.
  • Build and execute the boutique activation calendar with a clear focus on ROI, including customer acquisition and retention. Activities include events, loyalty rewards, local networking & partnerships, boutique e-newsletters, social media posts (IG & FB) and seasonal moments.
  • Grow data capture to enable targeted clienteling that can impact footfall and conversion.
  • Leverage local networking to engage contacts with B2B partnerships and bespoke deals.
  • Ownership of operational management duties including overseeing delivery checks, organising opening hours and rotas, accountability for stock compliance and inventory work, creating daily and monthly reports, and cash-book management.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years of experience, a solid understanding of luxury retail operations and a proven track record in sales, business development, corporate deals and partnerships.
  • Commercially savvy and detail-oriented, with strong business acumen, budget & project management skills, and fluency in MS Office including Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, including networking, relationship-building, clienteling and team-building.
  • Highly motivated, passionate and adaptable, with excellent communication skills and high personal presentation standards.
  • Able to work weekends and seasonal periods when required.
