Working onsite in Wolverhampton, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality welding standards across critical components and assemblies.
What You Will Do
- Ensuring welds are completed in line with drawings and approved weld procedures.
- Conducting weld visual fit-ups and verifying welding equipment.
- Carrying out post-weld visual inspections to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Defining and documenting rework and repair schemes where required.
- Mentoring and providing constructive feedback to fitting and welding operators.
- Performing departmental spot checks to support TPM and maintain NADCAP compliance.
- Participating in investigations and supporting the implementation of corrective actions.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
