who can identify improvements, increase efficiency and help support ongoing growth. Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate daily yard operations Lead and support a team of 4 operatives, with plans to grow further Oversee goods in and goods out activities Ensure stock is accurately stored, organised and easily located Coordinate product movement between nearby sites Operate a forklift when required Improve yard layout, organisation and efficiency Work closely with production and logistics teams Monitor stock movements and inventory levels Ensure customer orders are dispatched accurately and on time Maintain a safe and efficient working environment What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Yard Controller, Yard Supervisor, Yard Manager or similar Experience leading or supervising a team Strong goods in/goods out experience Forklift experience is essential Forklift licence beneficial but not essential Experience handling large, awkward or oversized products Strong organisational and stock control skills Ability to implement improvements and take ownership Manufacturing, logistics, stores or yard background What's On Offer?
