Role Summary
Salary: £32,37k
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9-5pm
Location: Chiswick (Hybrid)
Core responsibilities of the Service Planner:
- Maintenance planning across all contracts
- Project support (CAPEX exposure acceptable)
- CMMS system management
- Work orders and spares administration
- Supporting engineers across multiple contracts/projects
- Some client and engineer interaction
- Submitting permits for work completion
- Light document control (organisation-focused, not heavy DC experience)
Background / Experience Required from the Service Planner:
- Experience in engineering environments
- Maintenance planning or CMMS experience essential
- FMCG or large production/manufacturing environment preferred
- Regulated industry experience beneficial (audits, compliance)
- Understanding of PLC/SCADA (basic level acceptable)
- Strong organisation, IT skills, communication and written ability
- Good level of qualifications demonstrating communication capability
Industry Preference: Rail ideal but flexible, general engineering background acceptable
