Our client is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join their growing R&D team in Rugby, playing a key role in the design and development of innovative electronic products from concept through to production.

Key Responsibilities
- The Electronics Engineer will design and develop embedded electronic systems, including schematic capture, component selection, PCB layout, prototyping, and testing.
- Develop and maintain Embedded C/C firmware for PIC, NXP, or similar microcontrollers.
- Produce technical documentation, specifications, and product development requirements.
- Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and maintain product data within ERP systems.
- The Electronics Engineer will support product testing, validation, EMC and safety compliance activities.
- Provide technical support to production and wider engineering teams, while mentoring junior colleagues.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5 years' experience within a product development environment.
- Strong experience in electronic hardware design, PCB development, and embedded firmware programming.
- Knowledge of product safety, EMC, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Project management experience would be advantageous.
