Industrial Physics Telford is undergoing an exciting period of growth and is recruiting for an ambitious Production Team Leader for our growing Assembly and Test teams. We are consolidating manufacturing activities from two other locations in the UK and Netherlands, and we are creating a new team in a newly refurbished facility, adjacent to our existing premises. This new facility will assemble, test, and service precision instruments that are used in gas, beverage, and other industries for providing quality assurance to our customers. As a Production Team Leader, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our operations footprint.
As a Production Team Leader you will be required to:
- Safely manage workload and daily production schedules
- Support staff development and performance to meet our customer commitments on a daily basis
- Support recruitment and training of the new team members, and work through many aspects related to the set-up of the new facility
This will be an exciting journey for a Production Team Leader, and success will require a person who is open to continually learning, with an ability to work through new challenges independently as they develop, supported by their peers and manager.
