The predicted salary is between 13 - 18 £ per hour.

Salary: £16-£18 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Pattern: 4.5-day working week with flexible start/finish times on full days and an early finish at 12:00 on Fridays.

Orion is partnered with a well-established electrical manufacturing business, which is recruiting for an experienced Panel Wireman to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Electrical panel wiring and assembly
  • Cabinet/box building
  • Direct-to-panel wiring and point-to-point connections
  • Wiring up to gear plates and mounting plates
  • Reading and working from electrical drawings and schematics
  • Crimping, termination and cable preparation
  • Installing fuses, meters and associated panel components
  • Working to high quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure builds meet specification

Experience:

  • Previous experience in electrical panel wiring or panel assembly
  • Previous cabinet/box building experience
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
  • Strong crimping, wiring and termination skills
  • Experience wiring control panels, gear plates or distribution panels
  • Electrical qualification to at least Level 2 or equivalent
