Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer specialising in the design and production of bespoke fuel storage and refuelling equipment.

Supplying customers across a range of industries including construction, aviation, agriculture, rail, and mining, they have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality engineered solutions.

Operating from a modern fabrication facility, the business offers a complete in-house manufacturing process, including design, laser cutting, CNC machining, fabrication, welding, blasting and painting.

Due to continued growth and increased demand, they are looking to add an experienced Aluminium Welder/Fabricator to their team.

  • Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Overtime available.

The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Aluminium Welder/Fabricator to join a busy manufacturing environment producing specialist fuel handling and refuelling equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welding and fabricating aluminium components ranging from 3mm to 15mm thickness.
  • Working with pipework, vessels and flanges.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering and manufacturing drawings.
  • Fabricating and assembling complex structures to a high standard.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to support production improvements.
  • Cutting, welding and finishing products to specification.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, housekeeping and health & safety.
  • Working independently and as part of a team to meet production targets.

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in Aluminium MIG and TIG welding.
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Experience using overhead cranes and slinging equipment.
  • Knowledge of industry health & safety practices.
  • Experience using gas cutting equipment.
  • Ability to weld in a variety of positions.
  • Previous welding qualifications/coding preferred.
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties.
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport.
