We are recruiting for an experienced Programme Manager to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business delivering complex, high-value projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer-facing skills who can lead programmes from initial contract award through to final delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects/programmes throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain programme plans, milestones and project schedules.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage project risks, opportunities and mitigation plans.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers and key stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered to agreed cost, quality and delivery targets.
- Support contract reviews, project launches and engineering changes.
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Drive strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety and environmental standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing complex engineering or manufacturing projects.
- Strong project planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent customer-facing and stakeholder management experience.
- Experience managing budgets, resources and project risks.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience working across all stages of the project lifecycle.
