Job Title: Injection Moulding Setter Location: Worcester, Worcestershire An established and growing manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join their Mouldshop team. The company specialises in plastic and composite component manufacturing, supplying precision-engineered parts to industries such as automotive, aerospace, medical, building products, and consumer goods. Salary & Package Injection Moulding Setter £28k-£32k salary 25 days holiday 8 bank holidays Defined contribution pension scheme Life assurance Training & development opportunities (including forklift, overhead crane, and first aid certification) Shifts 40 hours per week 2 rotating shifts Early: 06:00 14:00 Late: 14:00 22:00 Flexibility to cover night shifts for holidays and absences will be required. Key Responsibilities Injection Moulding Setter Set, condition, and optimise injection moulding machines to meet production and quality requirements. Perform tool changes, tool preparation, and ensure correct materials are loaded and ready. Follow machine start-up, restart, and shutdown procedures. Conduct robot program setup and adjustments, including automation cell configuration. Set up and operate ancillary equipment such as temperature controllers, oil heaters, and dryers. Carry out fault finding and process troubleshooting during production and development runs. Experience & Qualifications Injection Moulding Setter Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Setter in a modern manufacturing environment desirable Experience within a manufacturing environment and exposure to the operation of heavy machinery is a must if no injection moulding experience IMT qualifications (ideally IMT3) or equivalent experience. Confident in adjusting moulding conditions and optimising machine performance. Problem-solving and troubleshooting experience.
