Our client is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join their growing R&D team in Rugby, playing a key role in the design and development of innovative electronic products from concept through to production. The Electronics Engineer will design and develop embedded electronic systems, including schematic capture, component selection, PCB layout, prototyping, and testing. Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and maintain product data within ERP systems. The Electronics Engineer will support product testing, validation, EMC and safety compliance activities. Provide technical support to production and wider engineering teams, while mentoring junior colleagues. Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline. ~Strong experience in electronic hardware design, PCB development, and embedded firmware programming. ~ Knowledge of product safety, EMC, and regulatory compliance requirements. ~ Project management experience would be advantageous.
