Job Description

Great opportunity to work for a global energy consultancy as a Principal Onshore Pipeline Engineer, on a long-term Onshore FEED Project for a client based in the Middle East.

The Principal Onshore Pipeline Engineer will be responsible for leading the production of engineering deliverables and providing progress reporting for a project in accordance with the project plan. Typically, works as a Lead Pipeline engineer reporting to the Engineering Manager on a feasibility, concept, FEED, detailed design or EPC project. Supervising and checking the work of other engineers. Responsible for communicating technical / project issues potentially impacting the project to the Engineering and Project Manager.

Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:

  • Typically holds a Master's Engineering degree (honours or equivalent) in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Naval Architecture or similar engineering discipline.
  • Chartered status
  • Exposure to FEED / detailed design and EPC
  • Strong experience of working for engineering / client organizations in the onshore / offshore oil and gas industry.
