Job Title: Fabricator / Welder Team Leader - Stainless Steel Reports To: Fabricator /Welder Supervisor Direct Reporting Positions: Fabricator / Welders as directed by the Fabricator / Welder Supervisor or Workshop Management Relationships and Roles: Yard Manager, Workshop Foreman, Fellow work colleagues Purpose of Position: It is the responsibility of the Fabricator / Welder Team Leader - Stainless Steel to support the day-to-day operation of the Fabrication Workshop and Yard, lead and assist the Fabrication Team in their daily duties, and ensure stainless steel and associated fabrications are produced safely, accurately and to the required quality standard. The role includes preparing materials, tack welding, full welding, finishing, inspecting and progressing work in accordance with drawings, welding procedures, method statements, non-standard method statements, quality requirements and company systems and policies. Main Responsibilities: Lead, support and coordinate daily fabrication and welding activities within the workshop and yard, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
