Our client, a world leader in water solutions technology who are at the forefront of innovation and sustainability offer an exciting opportunity to be part of their Supply Chain team As a Graduate Buyer you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of the procurement function, including strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and procurement operations. Ideal candidate profile: • Bachelor\’s Degree in a relevant field, such as supply chain management, business management or business administration • Experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Knowledge of procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, e-sourcing platforms). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Familiarity with project management methodologies. • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Main responsibilities • Assist in the development and execution of sourcing strategies for various categories of goods and services. • Participate in the request for proposal (RFP) process, including the preparation of RFP documents, evaluation of supplier proposals, and supplier selection. • Support contract negotiation and management activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, assess market trends, and identify cost-saving opportunities. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, legal, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective communication. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement processes and enhance operational efficiency. • Assist in the development and implementation of supplier performance management programs. • Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance procurement knowledge and skills.
