About the Role
Our client has an opportunity for a Quality Advisor to join their team. Working in partnership with Orion Group, this leading contractor operates across multiple sectors and is widely recognised for delivering complex, high-value projects within Power & Transmission, Renewables, and Water. With new contract awards secured on an almost daily basis, the business has a strong and growing order book, providing guaranteed work for at least the next 10 years. To support the successful delivery of these projects, they are continuing to invest heavily in their people and are expanding teams across the organisation.
In this role, the Quality Advisor will play a key part in ensuring products and services meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. You will manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), support compliance with ISO 9001, and actively promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the business.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's QMS.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other standards.
- Keep up to date with national and international regulations.
- Lead and support quality improvement initiatives.
- Deliver training on quality assurance and control processes.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation and reports.
- Investigate and report on non-conformance and customer complaints.
- Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, ensuring quality expectations are met.
Qualifications
- Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience with quality management systems and ISO 9001.
- Relevant certifications (CQI, Six Sigma, ISO Lead Auditor) desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in quality management software and data analysis tools.
