Our Oil & Gas Operator client based in Aberdeen is currently recruiting for the position of CMMS Associate Engineer on a PAYE contract basis for 12 months.

What are we looking for:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within a SAP maintenance function in the upstream Oil & Gas industry.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing SAP PM master data, including:
    • Experience of Asset registers
    • Experience of Maintenance plans, Tasks List and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Strong understanding of maintenance management principles and processes, including planning, scheduling and maintenance performance measurement.
  • Demonstrated experience working with maintenance KPIs and supporting performance improvement initiatives.
  • Proven data management and analytical skills, including advanced use of Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

DUTIES:

To manage, maintain, and continuously improving maintenance master data within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP). The role supports maintenance, operations, engineering, and project teams by ensuring data quality, compliance with maintenance processes, and effective system utilization. The position also contributes to data improvement initiatives and supports the delivery of maintenance excellence across the facility.

Key tasks / responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and update maintenance master data within SAP PM, including:
    • Asset registers
    • Maintenance plans
    • Maintenance items
    • Task lists
    • Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Process and implement master data change requests in accordance with site requirements, data standards, governance processes, and approved procedures.
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of maintenance master data to support effective maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution.
