The predicted salary is between 28800 - 42000 £ per year.

Orion Group is working with a successful national Construction client to source an Assistant Site Manager to add to the Highland based Operations.

What you will be doing:

  • Directing the necessary labour, plant, staff and equipment to achieve both plot and project completion on time, to specification and within budget.
  • Monitoring that the Buying team and Surveying department order the correct materials and sub-contract services in good time to meet contract obligations.
  • Managing Site teams by monitoring performance against contract targets and instigating any necessary corrective actions.
  • Ensuring compliance with Group Safety Policy and Health and Safety Regulations.
  • Ensuring that staff and operatives are managed and led effectively by developing the skills and attitudes of managers resulting in the provision of a working environment that engenders high morale.

About You:

  • Experience of working within the Construction industry.
  • Completed an Apprenticeship in a Construction discipline, ideally Joinery.
  • Positive contribution to behavioural safety initiatives.
  • Good communication verbal and written.
  • Present a clean and tidy site and have a good knowledge of the Considerate Contractor’s requirements to achieve high scores.
