Our client, a leading industrial manufacturing business, is seeking to source a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team of 10 within the maintenance team at their facility in Perth. This is a fantastic career opportunity to join a progressive global business that is expanding its operations due to product success.
The role is Dayshift working Monday to Friday. One week in six, there is the requirement to be on call and there is an annual on call allowance of £1,889.16. This is paid monthly on top of the annual salary.
Candidate overview
The successful candidate will have a proven track record within a maintenance engineering environment, with at least 1 year of post-apprenticeship experience. You will be able to work under your own supervision, be self-motivated and enthusiastic. You will possess good interpersonal skills and have a structured and analytical approach to problem solving.
Advantageous Skills and Experience:
- Hold a BS 7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- Knowledge of power electronics, including thyristors and temperature control systems
- Familiarity with analogue & digital I/O systems
- Experience with PLC/SCADA control systems and HMI interfaces
- Experience designing, building, and commissioning control panels
- Experience of commercial/industrial installations including heavy containment and cable installs
The role
You will work within the Engineering department and provide world-class support to the manufacturing team by:

- Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Continuous improvement in relation to operating efficiency

- Apply knowledge of manufacturing techniques and principles
- Maintain a planned and organised approach to workload
- Participate in the on-call system (1 week in 6) additional payment allowance
