Job Description

Commercial Analyst (12-Month Contract)
Location: North Scotland

Were working with a major organisation in the nuclear sector who are looking for Commercial Analysts to join their team on a 12-monthcontract basis.

The role will focus on supporting procurement activity to ensure goods and services are delivered in line with project requirements, providing value for money while meeting regulatory and organisational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

– Support procurement of low value/risk goods and services.
– Assist with contract strategies, sanctioning and validation processes.
– Help deliver contracts, including managing variations, complaints, and disputes.
– Contribute to contractor selection and award processes in line with procurement rules.
– Produce reports and maintain procurement data and metrics.
– Ensure commercial activities reflect organisational policies on supply chain, socio-economic impact and collaboration.

What were looking for:

– Administration experience (essential).
– Commercial or procurement experience (desirable, but not essential).
– Public sector procurement experience (desirable).
– Strong organisation and planning skills.
– Ability to work to deadlines and maintain quality.
– Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

– HNC in Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent with relevant experience (essential).
– NEC 3/4 contract management knowledge (desirable).
