Orion Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Engineer on behalf of our Client, an Inverness based engineering firm providing a wide range of services including electrical, mechanical, fire, security, and renewable energy solutions. This is a full-time, permanent position and will involve the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems across both commercial and residential projects throughout Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial properties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to enhance system reliability and lifespan
- Troubleshoot faults and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal performance
- Comply with all relevant health and safety standards and company procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service and professional advice to clients
- Keep accurate service records and documentation
What We're Looking For:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
- F Gas Certification (essential)
- Solid experience in installation, maintenance, and fault-finding on A/C and refrigeration systems
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
