We are seeking an experienced Operations Administrator to support our clients operations teams in Aberdeen with various administrative duties. This is a role based in Altens, South Aberdeen.
Candidates must be experienced in supporting an engineering office and be proficient in Word, Excel and document/certification management.
Immediate start in January 2025 would be preferred in an ongoing contract. Candidates hould ideally already be living in the Aberdeen area.
In addition to general support of the team, the main tasks are ensuring that monthly accounting tasks are completed, order processing, engineer training scheduling and training system management, procuring required materials.
Job Tasks:
• Maintain regular contact with key clients on engineer training requirements.
• Monthly review and updates of financial performance for projects (Costs to Complete).
• Support and approve placing orders for required materials, tools, PPE, sub-contract support, etc.
• Review and approve invoices for placed purchase orders.
• Support and prepare invoices for completed jobs.
• Arrange for annual calibration of test equipment and update calibration register as needed.
Ideally candidates will have a proven operations support background in an engineering business and:
• Self-motivated but also able to liaise closely with others.
• Customer and solutions orientated.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A basic understanding of accounting tasks.
