Marine Operations & Logistics Specialist – Offshore Wind
Location: London (with substantial WFH)
Contract Length: 12 Months (Potential Extension)
Excellent Day Rate – Ltd Company, Outside IR35
Are you an experienced Marine Specialist with a strong background in offshore construction, vessel coordination, and logistics? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a major offshore wind project on a long-term contract, offering an outstanding day rate on an outside IR35 basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee marine operations for offshore wind farm construction
- Manage vessel coordination, logistics, and personnel transport
- Ensure compliance with marine regulations and offshore safety standards
- Support the installation of wind turbines, subsea cables, and foundations
- Conduct risk assessments and implement HSE best practices
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, and contractors
What You Need:
- Offshore wind or offshore oil & gas experience (oil & gas transition welcomed!)
- Strong background in marine logistics, vessel operations, or offshore construction
- Relevant marine and offshore safety certifications, such as:
- GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) or BOSIET
- STCW Certification (if vessel-based)
- ENG1 Seafarer Medical Certificate
