About the Role of Solderer:
We are looking for a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will assemble products to a high standard using a variety of tools and equipment. These may include screen printers, surface mount machines, and reflow ovens, as well as microscopes, soldering irons, and automated wash systems. You’ll follow detailed work instructions, maintain strict quality standards, and ensure safe operation of all equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and process PCBAs and components in line with work instructions and procedures.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance before moving to the next stage.
- Accurately maintain and update job history on all route cards for tasks completed.
- Proactively report any issues that could impact delivery schedules or product quality.
- Comply with all Health & Safety, housekeeping, quality, and environmental policies.
Skills and Requirements:
- IT/Computer literate.
- Ability to solder to a high standard (required for £13 per hour rate).
- Previous assembly experience is desirable but not essential—training can be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
