Responsibilities of the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer: Lead Mechanical Design of New Product Development (Full product Life-cycle) Produced Detailed Designs using 3D CAD (Ideally SolidWorks but open to other CAD packages) Approving Engineering Drawings Skills and Requirements of the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer: Mechanical Engineer undergraduate degree (or similar). Full Product Life-cycle Design Experience. Experience in running or leading your Design Projects. Engineering background in Aerospace or Defence.
