The Role of Junior Technician
Due to continued growth and strong demand for their products and services, they are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Junior Technician to join their dedicated team. You'll play a key role in providing a wide range of engineering services and support, both in-house and externally.
Key Responsibilities of the Junior Technician:
- Assemble and build a variety of standard and bespoke equipment
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain machinery, implementing practical and lasting solutions
- Calibrate weighing systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
- Deliver technical support and guidance to customers and stakeholders
- Manage spare parts and tooling inventory
- Assist with installation and on-site demonstrations of new equipment
- Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and calibrations
Qualifications & Experience of Junior Technician:
- Level 3 qualification or above in mechanical or electrical engineering (NVQ, City & Guilds, HND or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience in an industrial engineering environment.
- Eager to learn attitude.
- Familiarity with calibration procedures and quality standards.
