Job Title: Contract Mechanical Design Engineer Contract Mechanical Design Engineer 6 -12 month contract (rolling) Inside IR35 Opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer with Inventor or SolidWorks experience to undertake a varied long-term contract. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a solid background in Inventor or SolidWorks to work on a number of key New Product Development projects, undertaking detailed conceptual design and supporting the complete project life cycle. You will also support re-engineering / existing product upgrades. As Contract Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have the ability to : Undertake Mechanical Design of New Product Development (complete product Life-cycle) Undertake detailed designs using 3D CAD (SolidWorks or Inventor) Concept Generation Produce Documentation to support Development Knowledge of manufacturing methods The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will have;   Proven mechanical design experience within a fast-paced development environment (Ideally 4-5 years min) Experience working on instrumentation or similar complex electro-mechanical products  3D CAD  – SolidWorks or Inventor Full Product Life-cycle Design Experience.  If you feel you have the skills and background to take this opportunity as a Mechanical Design Engineer, please contact Alison Kemp for further details or apply via the link.
