Join a fast paced, innovative electronics company driving the future of technology. We are looking for a Production Planner with a solid background in electronics manufacturing to help optimise production schedules, ensure material availability, and keep projects running smoothly and on time.
Key responsibilities as a Production Planner:
- Develop and manage detailed production schedules aligned with customer demand, material availability, and manufacturing capacity
- Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely delivery of components and finished goods
- Monitor and adjust plans as needed due to material shortages, equipment issues, or design changes
- Analyse production data and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement
- Support new product introductions and engineering change implementations from a planning perspective
- Maintain accurate ERP/MRP system data and generate reports on production status
The successful Production Planner will ideally have the below experience:
- Proven experience as a Production Planner in the electronics industry (PCB assembly, SMT, or similar environments preferred)
- Strong knowledge of materials planning, inventory control, and lean manufacturing principles
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
- Relevant qualifications in supply chain, production, or engineering (desirable)
