Key responsibilities as a Production Planner:

  • Develop and manage detailed production schedules aligned with customer demand, material availability, and manufacturing capacity
  • Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely delivery of components and finished goods
  • Monitor and adjust plans as needed due to material shortages, equipment issues, or design changes
  • Analyse production data and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement
  • Support new product introductions and engineering change implementations from a planning perspective
  • Maintain accurate ERP/MRP system data and generate reports on production status

The successful Production Planner will ideally have the below experience:

  • Proven experience as a Production Planner in the electronics industry (PCB assembly, SMT, or similar environments preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of materials planning, inventory control, and lean manufacturing principles
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
  • Relevant qualifications in supply chain, production, or engineering (desirable)
