Job Shift: Full Time. Flexi time around core hours Monday to Thursday. Early Finish Friday. Paid O/T at premium rate.

Due to continued investment and product innovation, this leading design, development and manufacturer are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer who also has knowledge of quality processes and tools to support ongoing process optimisation, implement manufacturing improvements, drive product quality and reduce costs within a mechanical manufacturing environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a motivated team with key responsibilities as Manufacturing Quality Engineer spanning:

  • Developing and updating work instructions (SOPs) and manufacturing specifications.
  • Supporting internal investigations using problem resolution tools and techniques including root cause investigations using lean tools and techniques.
  • Driving continuous improvement activities to remove waste and improve efficiency, Scrap, Rework and Repair.
  • Designing and updating jigs, fixtures and tooling including creating drawings for manufacture.
  • Management of controlled builds.
  • CAPEX - identifying any new needs and supporting requisitions for new equipment as required.
