CNC Programmer
Location: Abingdon
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are looking for a skilled and motivated CNC Programmer to join a fast-growing team based in Didcot. In this role, you\’ll play a vital part in setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components across industries such as aerospace, electronics, and industrial manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:

Program and set up CNC machines to ensure they meet technical specifications for a variety of complex projects.

Operate CNC milling, turning, and drilling machines to manufacture parts with a high level of accuracy.

Monitor machine operations during production, ensuring quality and efficiency standards are met.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of setups, production logs, tooling data, and machine performance.

Collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to resolve any technical challenges and ensure the timely completion of production targets.
Essential Requirements:

At least 2 years\’ experience in CNC machining, including any apprenticeships.

Solid experience in a precision engineering environment.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD/CAM programs.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Strong organizational skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach to work.

Willingness to work afternoon shifts as required.
Desirable Skills:

Experience with metal additive manufacturing or near-net shape parts is a plus.
