My client is a world leader in the design, manufacture, installation and management of process plants for Surface Treatment, Non-Destructive testing (NDT) and Process Water Recycling. They provide solutions from a fully automated process plant to smaller manual lines, spares and specialist equipment.

As the Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of a portfolio of products and projects. You will produce system drawings, general arrangement drawings, sub-assembly drawings and detailed part drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor.

What we would like from the Mechanical Design Engineer:

  • Engineering qualification, HNC as a minimum
  • 3 years of experience in chemical/process manufacturing, special purpose machinery or similar manufacturing environment
  • Experience using Inventor (ideally) for 3D and AutoCAD for 2D
  • Sheet metal and machined component design is desirable
  • Working knowledge of GD&T
  • Ability to produce documentation of a level suitable for manufacturing, assembly and installation
