The role of Senior Mechanical Design Engineer:
As the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be required to design the company’s full product portfolio. This includes compiling parts lists and maintaining drawing records, the ability to work with the assembly and test technicians, providing practical and cost-effective solutions to design change and modification for individual orders, and providing technical support to customers and internal sales/service departments.
Skills and experience for the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer:
- Extensive experience in design within an industrial environment, ideally designing machinery such as conveyor systems, packaging machinery, or 3-phase machinery.
- Experience using 3D design software (ideally Inventor) and 2D design software (ideally AutoCAD).
- Must be free to travel worldwide with no restrictions.
- Full UK manual or automatic driving licence.
