Your Role of the Electrical Control Systems Engineer
You will play a vital part in delivering technical solutions for both internal and client-facing projects. Supporting the Lead Automation, Controls & Electrical Engineer, youll be responsible for hands-on involvement in all project phasesfrom concept through to commissioning and in-service support
Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Control Systems Engineer
- Provide technical support in Electrical, Automation, and Instrumentation across projects.
- Contribute to the full engineering lifecycle: concept development, prototyping, implementation, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, suppliers, and team members.
- Uphold the values of simplicity, clarity, and integrity in all interactions.
Essential Skills & Experience of the Electrical Control Systems Engineer
- Background in Electrical, Automation, Controls or Instrumentation engineering.
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of control systems, instrumentation, and electrical engineering.
- Ability to specify and commission electrical control panels and systems.
- PLC programming skills (IEC 61131-3).
- Experience with actuators, servo drives, sensors, and motion control systems.
- Degree-qualified (BSc, BEng, MSc, MEng) in Electrical Engineering or related field.
