Multi Trade Plumbing Heating Engineer - Orion Building Engineering Services Ltd have a fantastic opportunity to add to our expanding team of Engineers with the position of a Multi Trade Plumbing Engineer. With an excellent industry reputation, gained over twenty years, Orion lead the way in the delivery of building engineering and support services. Our aim is to improve the safety and well-being of the customers we serve and ensure the efficiency and reliability of the buildings we maintain through exceptional service, knowledge and expertise.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks and plumbing works utilizing your expertise as a multiple trades engineer to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. You will be carrying out key duties to support other departments within the business.
Duties
- Working in partnership with your fellow Engineers and the wider team.
- Work across various trades, including plumbing, carpentry, and general building.
- Day-to-Day Plumbing Maintenance: Fixing taps, TMVs, showers, ball valves, gate valves, stop cocks.
- General fixtures & fittings, loft boarding, ceiling and carpet tile replacement, plaster boarding walls/ceilings etc.
- Heating and Hot Water Maintenance: Checking 2 ports, 3 ports, mixing valves heating and HWS pumps CWS Tanks, HW cylinders, TMVs, TRVs radiators.
- Shower Maintenance: Maintaining and replacing shower valves.
- Heating and Hot Water Pipework: Installing/replacing new pipework up to 54mm, fixing leaks, and draining down and refilling complete systems heating hot and cold.
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on a wide range of systems and equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Working effectively within a team environment and demonstrating excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Plumbing and Multi Trade engineer.
- At least 2 years in a relevant role.
- NVQ Level 2-3 Plumbing and Heating.
- HWSS G3 Qualification to work on unvented and vented cylinders is desirable.
- Experience with water hygiene-related plumbing work is highly desirable.
- Good level of computer skills, ability to use PDA/Compliance system for reporting.
- Positive attitude and work ethic.
- Ability to make recommendations from service visits.
- Must have own hand tools of good quality.
- Clean UK Driving License.
- Clean DBS Record.
