Immediate Vacancy for 3 x Experienced Water Hygiene Engineers. 2 x based around East London; 1 x based around Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire. Orion Building Engineering Services Ltd have a fantastic opportunity to add to our expanding team of Experienced Water Hygiene Engineers.

ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidates must be experienced and will be responsible for a range of water hygiene tasks, visiting client sites and be the face of the company, seeking to enhance relationships with existing clients.
- Carrying out key duties to ensure client systems are kept compliant including TMV (thermostatic mixing valves) servicing, chemical descaling, leading and managing disinfection works, sampling, and plumbing-related works from water hygiene tasks.
- Conduct water testing and control works, including sampling.
- Conduct water hygiene tasks, descaling, temperature monitoring, TMV Servicing etc.
- Descaling of shower head and hoses.
- Work in partnership with fellow Water Hygiene Engineers to carry out Tank Cleans/Disinfections.
- Calorifier/Hot Water Cylinder Services; Calorifier Clean/Descaling.
- Expansion Vessel Services.
- Day-to-Day Plumbing Maintenance - fixing taps, TMVs, showers, ball valves, gate valves, stop cocks desirable.
- CWS Tanks, HW cylinders, TMVs, TRVs radiators.
- Shower Maintenance - Maintaining and replacing shower valves.
- Ability to make recommendations from service visits.
- Experience in water hygiene engineering; At least 2-3 years in a relevant water hygiene role.
- Legionella Awareness Training desirable; City & Guilds water industry certifications and other relevant qualifications in water hygiene.
- Good basic understanding of ACOP L8 & HSG 274 parts 1,2,3.
- Experience at plumbing - desirable.
- NVQ Level 2-3 Plumbing or other plumbing qualification desirable.
- Hold HWSS G3 Qualification to work on unvented and vented cylinders ideally.
- Experience with water hygiene-related plumbing work is highly desirable.
- Clean UK Driving License.
- Clean DBS Record.
