Immediate vacancy for 2 x Commercial GAS engineers covering Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex. Orion Building Engineering Services Ltd have a fantastic opportunity to add to our expanding team of experienced Commercial Gas Engineers. With an excellent industry reputation, gained over twenty years, Orion lead the way in the delivery of building engineering and support services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working on a mix of client sites such as schools, offices and residential sites and will be familiar and have experience of commercial sized boilers and associated plant and equipment, carrying out maintenance and service tasks including fault finding/diagnosis and repairs on equipment.
Duties
- Conduct routine planned maintenance and service requirements, working under own initiative to locate and diagnose faults and concerns.
- Demonstrate familiarity with all GAS requirements.
- Test installations, in line with current legislation requirements, and record the results of such tests on electronic systems.
- Repair and/or replace faulty installations, such as leaks, controls, etc., and assess parts needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance and testing on commercial systems, and ensure installations are to current regulations.
Requirements
- Experience as Commercial GAS Engineer: at least 3 years (ideally) in a relevant role, post qualification.
- ACS Commercial gas tickets: CODNCO1, COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CORT1, CDGA1 (Essential).
- Advantageous to have ACS Domestic Gas Certification.
- Relevant qualifications in gas engineering (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ).
- Conversant with current Gas Regulations (Essential).
- Clean UK Driving License.
- Clean DBS Record.
- 40 hours per week β Monday to Friday. 08.00am 17.00pm
- 22 days holiday per year plus bank holidays. Increasing by 1 day per year following 3 years of service.
