- Electrical & Electronics Support Engineering (Optical or Electrical bias)
- Integrated Technologies Engineering (Design & Development)
- Manufacturing Engineering
This is your chance to gain real‑world engineering experience while achieving nationally recognised qualifications - all the way to a BSc (Hons) degree.
What You’ll Achieve
Over six years, you’ll complete:
- HNC (2 years)
- Foundation Degree (2 years)
- BSc (Hons) Degree (2 years)
All while gaining hands‑on industry experience, developing professional engineering skills, and earning a salary throughout.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Technical & Practical Experience
- Assist with assembly, maintenance, repair, and testing of engineering systems and equipment
- Carry out diagnostics and fault‑finding activities
- Support engineering improvements and project work
- Use tools, machinery, and specialist test equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and records
- Attend college/training sessions and complete coursework
- Rotate across departments to broaden your knowledge
- Learn to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Gradually build the skills and confidence to work independently
- Follow all health & safety procedures and safe working practices
- Assist with inspections and quality checks
- Identify and report hazards or technical issues
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and technicians
- Communicate progress clearly and professionally

Entry Requirements
Applicants must:

- BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering (DDM or above), or
- T-Level in Engineering or Manufacturing (Merit or Distinction)
