  • Electrical & Electronics Support Engineering (Optical or Electrical bias)
  • Integrated Technologies Engineering (Design & Development)
  • Manufacturing Engineering

This is your chance to gain real‑world engineering experience while achieving nationally recognised qualifications - all the way to a BSc (Hons) degree.

What You’ll Achieve

Over six years, you’ll complete:

  • HNC (2 years)
  • Foundation Degree (2 years)
  • BSc (Hons) Degree (2 years)

All while gaining hands‑on industry experience, developing professional engineering skills, and earning a salary throughout.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Technical & Practical Experience
  • Assist with assembly, maintenance, repair, and testing of engineering systems and equipment
  • Carry out diagnostics and fault‑finding activities
  • Support engineering improvements and project work
  • Use tools, machinery, and specialist test equipment safely and effectively
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and records
  • Learning & Development
    • Attend college/training sessions and complete coursework
    • Rotate across departments to broaden your knowledge
    • Learn to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
    • Gradually build the skills and confidence to work independently
  • Health, Safety & Quality
    • Follow all health & safety procedures and safe working practices
    • Assist with inspections and quality checks
    • Identify and report hazards or technical issues

    • Collaborate with experienced engineers and technicians

    Entry Requirements

    Applicants must:

    • Be 18 years or older
    • Have one of the following:
    • Three A Levels at Grade B (including Maths + one other STEM subject), or
    • BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering (DDM or above), or
    • T-Level in Engineering or Manufacturing (Merit or Distinction)
  • Be eligible to enrol on an approved engineering apprenticeship programme
  • Have resided in the UK/EEA for at least 3 years and have the right to work in the UK
