We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientedSupplies and Office Support Assistant to manage the receipt, dispatch, and tracking of goods while supporting general office administration tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting internal stakeholders across departments at our Paignton office.
Key Responsibilities:
Goods Receipt & Handling:
- Receipt of goods from front desk, checking of contents against delivery notes and purchase orders and logging the items received in our system
- Manage any returns or follow up on goods missing or damaged
- Liaise with the engineering team to notify them of receipt of goods and arranging the asset tagging of relevant goods
Shipping & Returns:
- Prepare and pack goods for shipment to suppliers, customers, or other company locations.
- Generate and manage shipping documentation.
- Schedule shipments with couriers (e.g. DHL) and track delivery status.
- Coordinate product returns under warranty, ensuring proper documentation and communication with suppliers.
Supplier Coordination:
- Monitor outstanding purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Keep internal stakeholders informed of delivery status and any delays.
Office Administration Support:
- Manage ordering of day-to-day office consumables and supplies, including catering for meetings.
- Handle travel arrangements, including taxi bookings and occasional accommodation requests.
- Support front-of-house duties if we relocate to a new facility, including welcoming guests and managing incoming deliveries.
