Role Overview
The Development team is responsible for building and maintaining Origo’s expanding number of services. The team is currently looking for a Tester who will be responsible for test planning, execution and reporting. As attendance is required in the office, the successful applicant must be within commutable distance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analysis of requirements and creation of test resources.
- Test activity reporting.
- Participate in daily Standup meetings, Sprint Planning, Backlog review and Retrospective meetings.
- Ability to work collaboratively in Agile or fast-paced delivery environments.
- Reporting results to team lead.
Skills and Experience
- 1 years’ experience in Test Planning, Design and Execution.
- Formal testing qualification (ISEB/ISTQB) at Foundation Level.
- Some experience of recognised Test Management tools.
- Experience of working in an agile environment.
- Good oral and written communication skills, including facilitation and presentation / demonstration skills.
- Capable of working in a small team environment, as well as having the drive to work on an individual basis.
- Experience in the Financial Services industry - preferably with a working knowledge of the Life and Pensions and / or Fund Management sectors.
- Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure and technologies, preferably AWS.
- Experience testing REST APIs.
- Some experience with test automation tools (Cypress or Selenium preferred).
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with AI tools or testing applications utilising AI.
