This is a rare opportunity to join a purpose-led specialty care business focused on improving outcomes for patients and families across complex and underserved disease areas.

This position is not a traditional sales role. It is a strategic, high-impact role for an experienced account manager who thrives on partnership, value creation, and long-term system impact.

As Key Account Manager, you will act as a trusted partner to healthcare professionals and key stakeholders, leading the successful adoption, growth, and long-term impact of specialist therapies across:

  • Oncology
  • CNS & Chronic Pain
  • Rare Diseases, including Paediatric Endocrinology

You will operate across a defined UK & Ireland territory, driving account strategy, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure patients gain access to innovative treatments addressing significant unmet medical needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with national objectives and local healthcare system needs
  • Build and maintain high-trust relationships with clinicians, payers, and multidisciplinary stakeholders
  • Lead and support product launches and lifecycle management across specialty and rare disease portfolios
  • Work collaboratively with Medical, Market Access, and Marketing teams to deliver coordinated, customer‐centric solutions
  • Analyse market dynamics to identify opportunities for brand growth, access optimisation, and service improvement

Therapy Focus (Portfolio Exposure)

  • Oncology: Treatments for ultra-rare and endocrine-related cancers, including advanced adrenocortical carcinoma; Specialist chemotherapy solutions for pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours, where tumour reduction is critical
  • CNS / Pain: Solutions for severe chronic pain in patients refractory to conventional therapies
  • Paediatric Endocrinology: Market-leading therapies for Cushing's syndrome; A newly acquired ultra-orphan paediatric growth disorder therapy

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales or key account management, ideally within specialty care
  • Strong strategic thinking, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Comfort working across complex therapy areas and smaller, highly specialised prescriber bases
  • A self‐directed mindset suited to field-based, evolving environments
  • A clear commitment to patient outcomes and ethical, purpose‐led business practice

Why This Role?

  • Opportunity to work in a values-driven organisation where people, transparency, and accountability matter
  • High level of autonomy and influence across UK & Ireland
  • Exposure to specialist, rare, and orphan disease portfolios with genuine patient impact
  • A chance to be part of a growing, close-knit team, supported by global expertise
