We are looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner to join our talented team of craftsmen and women at Origins Design. We are an established business specialising in bespoke furniture design and manufacturing. Our brand new, purpose built workshop is based in SW London/Surrey, where we have in-house production and manufacturing teams producing high-end, free standing and fitted bespoke furniture.

Job Description

  • Making bespoke fitted and free standing furniture to a high standard.
  • Assembling joinery items.
  • Installing high-end, bespoke fitted furniture.
  • Preparing and finishing furniture products for spraying.
  • Working to agreed deadlines.
  • Supporting Company Directors and providing general support where required across all departments.

Job Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years experience working as a cabinet maker/joiner producing bespoke furniture.
  • Carpentry and joinery skills.
  • Joinery fitting experience would be an advantage.
  • Experience using veneer and laminate.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical/CAD drawings and furniture designs.
  • CNC experience would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • An eye for quality, detail and high standards of workmanship.
  • Hold a full UK driving license would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • Must be well organised.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Must have the right to live and work in the UK.
