Original Duckhead is growing internationally across wholesale and D2C, and we are entering an exciting new stage for the brand. This includes a rebrand, a bigger focus on social‑first content, and a stronger push into community, creators, and storytelling. We are looking for a Social Media & Content Executive to help shape how Original Duckhead shows up across organic social, especially TikTok, Reels, Instagram, and Pinterest. This is a hands‑on role with real creative input and visibility. It would suit someone who is culturally aware, visually strong, comfortable creating content, and excited by the opportunity to help build a brand at a key growth stage. You will work closely with our Senior Marketing Manager and the founder, helping bring ideas to life across social, community, creator activity, and campaign content.

What you’ll work on:

  • Social and content strategy: Help develop repeatable content formats for TikTok, Reels, Instagram, and Pinterest. Bring trend‑aware ideas that feel right for Original Duckhead. Support the planning of weekly content across organic social channels. Think creatively about how we make umbrellas feel more cultural, desirable, and relevant. Track what is working and help turn strong ideas into repeatable formats.
  • Short‑form video: Create and edit simple short‑form video content for TikTok and Reels. Identify social trends, sounds, formats, and storytelling angles that could work for the brand. Help us build a stronger, more consistent TikTok presence. Capture content around product launches, campaigns, shoots, office moments, and everyday brand activity. Be comfortable appearing in content occasionally where relevant.
  • Community: Help build a warmer, more engaged community around Original Duckhead. Support Instagram comments, DMs, and community interaction in our brand tone. Spot customer stories, creator content, press mentions, and cultural moments we can amplify. Help make our social channels feel more alive, responsive, and connected.
  • Creators and partnerships: Help identify creators, tastemakers, stylists, editors, and brand‑aligned people to work with. Support outreach, gifting, seeding, and relationship tracking. Bring ideas for collaborations, UGC, paid partnerships, and organic creator content. Track creator activity and help identify what is driving engagement, reach, and brand relevance.
  • Pinterest and discovery: Help grow Pinterest as a discovery channel for the brand. Create and organise boards, pins, and product‑led content. Think about how Pinterest can support both brand storytelling and product discovery. Use seasonal, colour, lifestyle, gifting, and design‑led moments to make our products more discoverable.
  • Campaign and shoot support: Support campaign planning from a social‑first perspective. Help capture behind‑the‑scenes and short‑form content at shoots. Contribute ideas for how campaigns can live across social, creators, email, PR, and community. Help make sure we capture enough content before, during, and after launches.
  • Press and content coordination: Support press and PR activity alongside our agency where relevant. Help organise content assets, product information, and campaign materials. Keep social and content workflows organised so ideas move quickly into execution. Help maintain a clear content calendar and asset flow.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in social, content, creative production, community, or brand marketing.
  • Strong taste level and a good eye for what feels current.
  • A genuine understanding of TikTok, Reels, Instagram, Pinterest, and social‑first storytelling.
  • Comfortable filming, editing, and creating content.
  • Comfortable being on camera.
  • Strong writing skills and an instinct for brand tone of voice.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to keep momentum in a fast‑moving team.
  • Interested in fashion, lifestyle, culture, design, gifting, and brand building.
  • Happy working in a small, growing business where the role is creative but also hands‑on.
  • London‑based and comfortable working from our Clapham office.

Why this could be exciting: This is a chance to join Original Duckhead at an important moment. We have strong product‑market fit, international growth, a rebrand about to launch, and a real opportunity to make social and content a much bigger part of the business. For the right person, there is room to grow with the role and help shape how the brand communicates over the next stage. You will be close to the brand, close to the product, and close to the founder, with the opportunity to bring ideas to life quickly and see their impact.
