Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive our sales growth in the UK and abroad.
This role will be key in strengthening our brand presence and building long-term relationships with key partners, interior designers, and architects in these markets.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the market and a proven track record in driving business development and sales in the interiors industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in UK and abroad.
- Build and maintain relationships with key interior designers, and architects.
- Sales and Revenue Growth
- Achieve sales targets through proactive client engagement and the development of new business relationships.
- Develop strategic sales plans to drive growth in each market.
- Manage sales pipelines and forecast sales growth opportunities.
- Brand Positioning
- Ensure Original BTC’s brand values of craftsmanship, heritage, and innovative design are communicated effectively across target markets.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create region-specific campaigns and initiatives to boost brand awareness and bring further sales growth.
- Client Management
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct regular meetings with key partners, interior designers, and architects to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the design or lighting industries.
- Strong knowledge of the design and retail landscape.
- Fluent in English
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to travel.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
