Origin7 is a BIM & Digital Construction Consultancy helping organisations across the built environment adopt

Digital Technologies and Processes as business as usual. We are seeking a motivated and technology-driven

Digital Apprentice to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop hands‑on experience with core software platforms and digital

systems, supporting Origin7 and the clients we work with across live projects and departments.

You will support the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of digital systems, helping

to drive efficiency, collaboration, and innovation throughout the business.

Working alongside experienced professionals, you will gain exposure to a wide range of digital tools and

platforms, developing skills in software administration, systems analysis, user training, technical support, and

digital process improvement.

The role is ideal for someone with a passion for computing, technology and problem-solving who is eager to

build a long-term career in digital systems, software or IT within the BIM and digital construction sector.

Candidates studying towards, or planning to study a Computing, Digital Technology, IT or a related discipline

are particularly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Software Platform Administration

Own and administer a core business software platform, ensuring it is maintained, kept up to date and used

effectively across the organisation.

Digital Systems Implementation

Support the implementation and rollout of new and current digital software and technologies across the

business and for our clients.

User Training & Onboarding

Deliver software training and onboarding to employees, new starters and subcontractors, and produce clear

user guidance and training materials.

Technical Support

Provide first-line technical support, addressing and resolving software and digital queries from staff,

subcontractors and project teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Document & Drawing Management

Support the management of project drawings and documentation, maintaining organised, accurate, and up-todate digital records.

Stakeholder Engagement & Process Improvement

Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to identify opportunities for improving digital

processes and driving technology adoption.

Developing software, coding / scripting automating processes to improve efficiency

Support the analysis and continuous improvement of digital workflows, contributing ideas that improve

efficiency and user experience.

Technical Interest

Educational

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • A-Level (or equivalent) in Computing, IT, or another STEM subject is desirable.

Candidates studying towards, or planning to study a Computing, Digital Technology, IT or a related discipline are particularly encouraged to apply.

  • or related degree (e.g. part‑time alongside employment) is an advantage.

  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills, with the confidence to support and train colleagues.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively across teams.
