Our client is a leading company in the aviation industry and is seeking to employ a Cabin Logistics Specialist.
Reports to: Cabin Logistics & Supply Chain Manager
Purpose of Position: The Cabin Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating cabin-related stock, supporting locker operations, and ensuring accurate inventory management across multiple locations. The role acts as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and locker teams, ensuring stock availability, compliance, and operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Manage and place stock orders for locker locations and source local stock when required. Monitor stock levels across lockers, address low stock levels outside standard order cycles, and liaise directly with locker staff. Support and audit lockers monthly cycle counts. Generate and assign barcodes for new stock items. Assist with monitoring linen levels, quantities, and inventory consistency. Perform regular stock and performance audits. Support expansion of stock reutilization processes to European lockers.
- Stakeholder & Locker Operations Support: Act as the main point of contact for NSR, Events, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders requiring stock for events, static demonstrations, and the Paris lounge. Answer general locker team queries and provide ongoing administrative support across all locker locations. Support iPad control, updates, and operational readiness. Provide backup coverage during vacations and other operational gaps.
- Compliance, Reporting & Administrative Support: Input, update, and maintain accurate data in systems, e.g. Xyicon and Xlog, including taking and uploading stock items photos. Prepare, update, and maintain stocking handbooks and reports, including item weight reviews and compliance documentation. Assist with onboarding and periodic refresher training for locker staff. Support additional office tasks, including purchase order bookings (ACW, Pierre Marcolini, Lyreco, and other suppliers).
Personal Specification:
- Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field would be advantageous.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a dynamic, operational environment.
- 3 to 4 years of demonstrated experience in operations and logistics.
